I’m an academic librarian who is fascinated and excited about the shift in educational thinking towards more learner-centered orientation.  It’s certainly not a complete shift.  I will be working in the environments where new and old ways co-exist for some time and within these environments, I believe that some innovations and new learning communities will emerge.
